Statement: Beginning of the Blessed Month of Ramadan 1447 H-2026
The Islamic Foundation of Ireland is pleased to announce that the first day of the month of Ramadan will be on Wednesday, the 18th February 2026.
The first Taraweeh prayer will be held tonight, Tuesday, 17 February 2026.
Taraweeh prayers schedule is as follows:
For the 1st ten nights, taraweeh prayers will be held at 8 pm
For the 2nd ten nights, taraweeh prayers will be held at 8.15 pm
For the 3rd ten nights, taraweeh prayers will be held at 8.30 pm

May Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) bless this month for you and your family and may your worship and fasting be accepted.
We ask Allah to protect our brothers and sisters who are suffering from oppression and war and to bring peace to them all.

We also wish to remind you to avail of the blessings of Ramadan and donate generously. You can make sadaqah for your parents and yourself this Ramadan by making donation to the Islamic Foundation of Ireland's Mosque Extension Project.
