Statement: Beginning of the Blessed Month of Ramadan 1446 H-2025

The Islamic Foundation of Ireland is pleased to announce that the first day of the month of Ramadan will be on Saturday the 1st March 2025.

The first night of Taraweeh Prayers will be tonight Friday 28 February 2025 immediately after ‘Isha’ prayer. Iqama for ‘Isha will be 10 minutes after Adhan.

May Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) bless this month for you and your family and may your worship and fasting be accepted.

We ask Allah to protect our brothers and sisters who are suffering from oppression and war and to bring peace to them all.

We also wish to remind you to avail of the blessings of Ramadan and donate generously. You can make sadaqah for your parents and yourself this Ramadan by making donation to the Islamic Foundation of Ireland's Mosque Extension Project.
