Graveyard clean up

When the Islamic Foundation of Ireland issued a call for volunteers to clean the Newcastle graveyard on Monday and Tuesday 19th and 20th August 2019, we never expected that at such short notice, so many of our community members would grab a shovel and march forth and retake control of our graveyard from the weeds. It is really inspiring that Muslims here in Ireland are willing to help and assist whenever they are called upon. This shows unity and concern in our community.

On behalf of the Islamic Foundation of Ireland, we would like to thank all the volunteers and staff who came out for the cleaning of the graveyard in Newcastle. Jazakum Allah Khayran to all (may Allah s.w.t. reward you) for your time and hard work, Ameen.
