Eid Mubarak. May Allah make this a truly blessed Eid for all Muslims.
The Prophet Muhammad, salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam, said about these days: "There are no days in which good action is more beloved to Allah than these days", meaning the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah …’’
As for the good actions that are recommended during the first ten days, these include: Nafl voluntary prayers, dhikr remembrance of Allah, Subhanahu wa ta’ala, reading the Qur’an, making a lot of Takbeer, Tahleel, and Tahmeed and fasting in all the first nine days, especially on the day of Arafat.
The Prophet Muhammad, salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam, said about fasting on the Day of Arafat: “Fasting on the day of Arafat, I anticipate that it will wipe out the sins of the year after it and the year before it.” Offering the Qurbani and the Eid prayer are also good deeds on these days.
Among the good actions to do these days is Sadaqh and spending fi Sabeelil-lah, so why not take the opportunity to give during these days?
We invite you to share in the reward and help in raising funds for the Dublin Mosque extension Project with Sadaqh Jariyah for yourself and or your parents and donate online now.
