Ramadan 2018 Qur'an Memorisation Competition
The Islamic Foundation of Ireland is pleased to announce the Ramadan 1439 H. (May-Jun 2018) Qur’an competition for children and youth aged up to 25 years.
The competition consists of seven sections. A contestant can only compete in one section of the competition. Anyone who participated in last year’s competition cannot contest in the same section but in a higher one. An application that does not meet the conditions will not be considered.
The sections and the age conditions are as follows:

2 | Juzu’ 29 & 30 of the Qur’an | For competitors aged up to 12 years |
3 | Juzu’ 28, 29 & 30 of the Qur’an. | For competitors aged up to 14 years |
4 | The Last 5 Juzu’ of the Qur’an | For competitors aged up to 18 years |
5 | The Last 10 Juzu’ of the Qur’an | For competitors aged up to 25 years |
6 | The Last 15 Juzu’ of the Qur’an | For competitors aged up to 25 years |
7 | The Whole Qur’an | For competitors aged up to 25 years |
- Those who wish to take part in the competition must register their names. Application forms are available from the I.F.I. office or you can download it here. Any application that does not meet the conditions will not be considered.
- The last date for registration is Friday 16 Ramadan 1439 (01/06/2018).
- The tests will be held on Sunday 18 Ramadan corresponding to 03/06/2018 starting from after Dhuhr prayer.
- The winners will be announced and the prizes distributed on Sunday 25 Ramadan corresponding to 10/06/2018 – after Dhuhr prayer.
