Eid ul-Fitr 2017 Celebrations

'Assalamu alaykum to all,

May you enjoy the rewards and blessings of the last few days of Ramadan in'sha Allah.  The Islamic Foundation of Ireland presents Eid celebration on Eid day (either 25th or 26th June; this will be confirmed only on Saturday, 24th June, after Maghrib prayer after the sighting of the moon).

Eid Mubarak to all and may Allah s.w.t. accept all our fasting and our good deeds and make this a truly blessed Eid for all Muslims. 

Program for the Eid day Celebrations at Dublin Mosque is as follows:

Eid prayer schedule: ​

  • There will be two Eid prayers at 8.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. (8:30am for the first Eid prayer & 9:30am for the second Eid prayer)
  • عيدالفطر المبارك  سوف تكون صلاتان للعيد الاولى على الساعة  8.30 و الثانية على الساعة 9.30
  • Tea, Coffee and sweets will be served after the second prayer
  • 11:00 am - 11.30 Goody bag will be given to the kids on first come first serve basis ( under 15 years ONLY)

Eid Parking

Parking will be available at the National Stadium between the hours of 7.30-11.30 am on the morning of Eid day.  Please follow the instructions of the Gardai on duty outside the Mosque and the Mosque security officers.  

Please remember your commitments towards your neighbours - A Muslim should not disturb his/her neighbour by e.g. parking vehicles in no parking zones, blocking driveways and footpaths.

 

FREE Eid Celebration:

Location: The Iveagh Grounds, in Crumlin, Dublin 12 (across the AIB bank at Crumlin Road)

Parking is available on the grounds of the club for €2 (whole day) or the Crumlin shopping centre just 5 minutes away. You can also get there by Bus and Luas.
Bus. There is a Bus Stop right outside our gates which are served by the 27, 56a, 77a and 151.
Luas: The club is within walking distance from the Drimnagh, Goldenbridge and Suir Road Luas Stops.

Time: 12-5pm.

Schedule of the Programme:

12:00 pm The food stalls start operating until 5 pm
12:30 pm - 4.45pm Games, trampoline and bouncy castle
2.00 pm Dhuhur prayer
4.45pm Games end and cleaning starts before Asar prayer
5:00 pm End of program
6:10 pm Asar prayer at masjid
